What is Person-Centered Counselling (PCC)?

It is a type of counselling that puts you the client at the center of the therapy. It believes that all of us have an innate desire to grow and change given the right environment and that the relationship between the therapist and the client is an integral part to this. It allows you, to bring yourself and what you want to the sessions. When exploring yourself and challenges you are facing in a non-judgmental and empathetic setting, it is believed that the process helps facilitate self-discovery and finding solutions to life's challenges.

Limitations of Person-centered Counselling:

It does not provide specific tools, it is not for diagnosing and not for giving treatment plans.
